Re: LISP - 2D Draw toggle

Hi, The (get_coordinate) function is currently only compatible with numeric point IDs. The 2D Draw Mode state can be accessed through a sysvar called MSI_SYSTEMTOGGLES which is a bit-coded value containing this and various other toggle settings. This sysvar is fairly new and doesn't exist in older v...

Re: Smart point blocks

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback - I agree this could be smarter and with a bit of work we should be able to maintain the position/rotation/layer/etc of each label.

Would you mind logging a request for this in our UserVoice forum so other users can also add their support and comments to it? Thanks!

Re: Super-elevated Road Curves

Hi, Unfortunately, you're right - the AutoRoute commands in MSCAD are pretty basic and don't support transition zones like superelevations and widenings. Some people use a "banked" template within the curve, but you end up with a discontinuity in/out of the curve. Our FieldGenius data collection pac...

Hi, Check out the new REVCLOUD (Revision Cloud) command, it functions much like the Tree Line command but you can specify an exact arc length. Should do exactly what you want!
This command was new in MSCAD 2016, and is located on the Draw ribbon.

Hi, The dialog with the "3D Lines" and "3D Lines" options is a little misleading, as it applies to using XYZ linework coding. Hi Steven,
It sounds like you are describing the Independent Point Numbers feature.
Just type IPN at the command line, or use the IPN button on the MsPoints ribbon/menu or the MsIPN toolbar to toggle it on/off.

Hi Andrew,
The filename always uses the point ID - so the photo for point "123" is called "123.jpg", etc.
