Traditionally we have used coordinate based data when performing our network adjustments. This data was 3D fit to each setup, and the mean coordinates based on each setup were determined and deviations from each setup shown. I'm trying to perform a similar adjustment in Star*NET but the software doesn't handle side-shot information.
Our setups are done free-station and all visible control is reigned in. From each setup the geometry of the points is matched to the other setups in the set. Because I don't care about the setup point, I don't understand how I can process this in Star*NET without reformatting the data that I have from the instrument.
Am I missing a step or can Star*NET use coordinate geometry to run an adjustment?
