DREADED DXF ZOOMS

Postby Richard Sands » Mon Nov 12, 2007 1:50 am

I just created a job in 2008 and exported to FG. FG opened OK but I noticed the screen showed the job zoomed to full extents then the next screen came up asking to start my total station. Closing that zoomed the job out to nothing. Turning dxf layers off didn't seem to help.
I created another fresh blank job, transfered the points, copied (MSCAD option) linework and uploaded to FG. This job also zoomed to nothing!!
Not sure whats going on.
I saved back to 2004, deleted the point related layers, reimported the points and uploaded a new file to FG. The job still zooms to infinity. I turned all dxf layers off and with only points showing, but it still zoomed right out. This is a real pain. Any suggestions greatfully received.

Hi Richard,

I'm not sure why that's happening but you might want to send a quick note to the support guys with your MSCAD project so they can run a couple of quick tests.

Postby Richard Sands » Sat Dec 01, 2007 8:33 pm

Jason I sent a support query but not sure how I actually add the whole directory to the support area, only could add one file at time?

Hi Richard,

Just zip the FieldGenius project and attach it to a support ticket.
