Allegro CX sync problems with Windows Vista

How do I sync my Allegro CX tracker on a computer with Vista? I can't install Active sync all I can use is Windows mobile device center. I have tried the serial to USB cable and bluetooth and have had no luck. A I doing something wrong, I can't seem to find any instructions on it either.

Most likely you have one of the two following issues:

1) You've accidentally blocked Windows Mobile Device Center from using your com ports. Check your firewall settings.

2) Your USB to Serial converter isn't installed correctly. Go into your computer device settings and make sure it appears as a com port. If you do see it there, make sure you setup ActiveSync to use the same com port.

If you still can't fix the problem, please submit a support ticket.
