raw data file?

Hello
on a older version we demoed, (version 1.5) you could print out the instrument setup info, any shots you took with the horz. and vert. angles and slope distance, ect ..We just demoed a tracker with FG2004 and I did not see this file available in the downloaded job files. Is this available on the new FG 2004

Hi Chris,

There are always two files available that the user can open in simple programs like notepad.

Raw File

All your raw information will be saved in a raw file that will have the same name as your project and a .raw extension. In the raw file you would see all your setup, stakeout, offset, resection, multisets, GPS observations, and localization information. Following is a short example of what a typical FieldGenius raw file looks like:

In this example, the user setup on point 1, backsighted point 204 and measured 6 foresight shots (Points 80-85).

COGO File

Any COGO calculations you do are saved in a seperate file called CogoCalcs.txt. In this file you would see something like this:
