Projecting Vertical Alignment on a different profile

Post by dmoses » Thu Mar 16, 2006 3:38 pm

Is there a way to project a vertical alingment onto a proflile that the vertical alignment is not tied to? What I am trying to do is show a centerline steet grade on a profile cut along a sanitary sewer.

When you are extracting a vertical alignment - you will get a dialog named "Profile Grid Parameters". In the bottom left of this dialog there is an option named "Profile Grid Name". If you select a profile grid name of another profile already in the drawing, it will draw your new profile on that existing grid.
