How to use filters in MSCAD2005?

Post by r_obert_s » Sun May 21, 2006 2:56 pm

I tried to use it to select points and move them to "Points" layer, but it didn't work.I got all my points selectd but I coudn't move them to the layer. If what I was trying to do is not inteded purpose of filters, then what it the intended purpose of filters?

Where were you getting the Filter options from? Filters can be use to select specific entities by filtering them out from a larger selection.

Which commands were you running, and from where? Just to make sure I am thinking about the correct filter options.

If you are trying to move some points to a specific layer, then you may find the Active Coordinate Editor of use, as you can select the points in the spreadsheet and then use the Change Selection Layer command under the Edit menu in the ACE.
