UCS Warning when opening a drawing

Post by r_obert_s » Tue May 23, 2006 4:08 pm

All my drawings are in UCS. Every time I open a drawing I get this Warning "Microsurvey has detected that the drawing is in a User Coordinate System. ......." etc. It is annoying. How do I get rid of it?

Also, how to disable Survey Assistant poping-up when opening a drawing?

We are checking the drawing for a UCS because when working in a UCS you can make errors with respect to our database. This is a protection feature and can not be turned off.

In MSCAD2004 and MSCAD2005, the assistant does not come up automatically. You must be running an older version. I do not know of any way to turn it off in the older versions.
