XREF manager

Post by Hydromel » Tue Jul 25, 2006 3:36 am

Hi, I would like to know if the XREF manager can be controled by command console or lisp...
if I type XRM, the XREF manager pop ups and if I type XREF, i get "External References: ? to list/Bind/Insert/Detach/Path/Reload/Unload/Overlay/<Attach>:" in console.

is it possible to attach via console a xref DWG that would be located in c:\somepath\xreffile.dwg ? If it's possible what could be the syntax of such command ?

Try this lisp routine:

Code: Select all

(princ "\nLoading Custom XREF Utility ")
(defun c:xreff()
(command "xref" "a")
)
When this lisp routine is started it will execute the XREF command with the "Attach".

If you set the FILEDIA variable to "OFF", then you will not see the dialog but will need to enter the path and file name to the xref drawing.
