Post by Michael O'Connor » Wed Aug 02, 2006 7:49 am

Is there a routine that will write a metes and bounds description for a closed figure or polyline on MSCadd 2004?

There is no routine to do this based on selecting a polyline. You have to define the boundary using point numbers.

Sorry about that I assumed you knew about the existing routine.

You need to go to the MsTools Menu | Lot Closure / Legal Description | Legal Description Writer.

When you execute this command it will ask you for the point numbers that define the boundary, and in the end produce a description.
