we want to be working with multiple viewports for this project. different viewports for different aspects of the project, i.e. site plan, grading plan. utility etc. we have an idea of what we need to do, (some autocadd operators helping us along the way), but it seems we are missing a way to "lock" a viewport. we go into a viewport, activate, zoom in & out, move around and then click out of the viewport. the view does not go back to the original viewport. are we missing something?

The current version of IntelliCAD does not have viewport locking.
