Zooming with wheel mouse

Post by Ron Mak » Tue Apr 15, 2003 11:39 am

I have reinstalled MScad on my machine which is now running WinXP pro. Previously, I was able to do a dynamic zoom by scrolling the wheel on my mouse - similar to AutoCad 2000+. But now it just scrolls the text in the command line window. How do I get it back to zooming?

Middle Mouse Button

I have not run into this before but here is what I do know. Go to the MICROSURVEY.KEY file and scroll down until you find the following:

[BUTTON MENU]

RButton=

MButton=[CONTEXT MENU]

With the Middle Button set to =[CONTEXT MENU], this brings up the context menu when you hit the middle mouse button. When you are in a command this brings up the Object Snaps.

I do not see anything that controls how the scrolling works. Mine just seems to work as you mentioned, automatically. Perhaps this is something controllable in the mouse driver on your computer.
