HATCHING ISSUE and More.....

Postby rwhatman » Wed Jul 16, 2008 5:11 am

The Hatching problem is the same Mscad2008 as it was for Mscad2005

You know what it is and yet you are not telling new users to 2008
what the work around is.

You protending to be hearing it for the first time.

How do I know, well I just happening to be talking to a user that
went from 2001 program to 2008.

They are happy with the program, but had a few problems with the program hatching for one.

OK for the rest who don't know the work around for the the hatching problem.

1. Do all hatching in world view.
2. Text should be horazontal not vertical inside the hatch.
3. Spread text apart so that your spacing is the same as using 80 leroy
4. If you still have the hatching covering some text, explode the hatch
and you will be able to delete the hatch that covers just the text
as it was cut, program just did not remove hatching.

Please put on fix list

Thanks

Ever since you and I confirmed what the hatching issue was in relation to text, I have explained it to any customer that asked, being they had run into it. I am not pretending to hear it for the first time when I know there is an issue.

Also, I have worked long and hard on this issue with IntelliCAD and it appears that the next release of IntelliCAD has this fixed, or at least 90% fixed. The next version of IntelliCAD will be incorportated into MicroSurvey CAD 2009 and is due out a little later this year (no specific date as yet).
