custom paper sizes

Post by iain macpherson » Tue Oct 07, 2008 9:05 am

The office plotter is a Xerox 8830. I need to create a plotter config file or something that resembles an Autocad pc3 which includes a Plot model parameter file (.pmp) that contains custom paper sizes. I tried adding paper sizes in the the MicroSurvey Print Setup > Printer > Properties > Paper Tab > Media Sizes > User Defined Media Button > create sizes and Save. But the list of custom sizes that I created did not stay. Does each entry have to be plotted to actually take effect and stay in the list or can you just simply create alist of custom sizes for future use.

Instead of setting the paper size from inside our program - go to the Windows Start button and into the printer driver and set it to have the custom paper sizes you desire. If the driver can save them, then we can use them.
