Point Description

Postby DOBBER246 » Wed Jan 21, 2009 2:03 pm

I'm wondering if there is a fix for the point description in the drawing view. My problem I'm having is that my points description stops if there is a dash in the name. For example, if my point name is "WELL 3-3-3-3" in the data base, it shows up on my drawing as "WELL 3". The hyphen/dash is the only thing that stops the description from showing the entire name. Any suggestions?

MsTools menu | MicroSurvey System Toggles | CAD Drawing Controls tab | Ignore Desc Dashes - turn this check mark on. Dashes are special characters and you have to tell us to not use them in this way and treat them like normal characters.

From our help file:
Ignore Desc Dashes;
Use this if you want the AutoMAP library to ignore dashes in your descriptions. Dashes are used by the AutoMAP Extended Options.
