Reverse angles - Manual traverse dialog in MSCAD2005 SP 1.3

Postby Scott Partridge » Tue Apr 21, 2009 2:20 pm

When entering traverse data manually, is there a way to enter a reverse (negative or left) angle in the horizontal angle field rather than calculating it? I seem to recall being able to do it. Or maybe I was dreaming about being able to do it... it works in MSCAD2009.

I am building some training videos for staff still locked into MSCAD 2005 for the time being.

It depends upon which method of entry you are using. If you use the Active Traverse Editor or the command line, then you should be able to enter a negative turned angle. The dialog box method did not have this option.
