SURVEYING MAN HOLES/ROAD COVERS

Postby Peter G » Thu Sep 02, 2010 1:38 am

Hi,

Has anyone out there got a good & quick way of surveying Man holes/ road covers, WITHOUT surveying all four corners?
I know that in AutoMAP you can insert a symbol and have it scaled & rotated to previous point. Although the centre of the symbol go onto the point instead of a corner,( if you where inserting a square or rectangle).

But its a shame that on the coded point you can't add the width say .600mm and the above rotine could then draw the rest of the line work. You could also say .600 for CW and -.600 CCW.

Any Ideas, do you think my idea should go on the "Customer Feedback" web page?
