Error Message

has anyone heard of this errorRRSLK8k8k? It happens when i try to bring in a txt or when i erase some points. It seems to have something to do with a dll file.

Hi, We've seen this a few times and have determined that it is caused by a conflict between MSCAD and certain aggressive virus scanner heuristics, and the two programs end up basically fighting over access to one of the files in the project database. As a quick test, try disabling your virus scanner for a few minutes and I suspect the problem will go away, only to return when you re-enable your scanner. This will confirm if this is a conflict, and if so you should then be able to configure your scanner to ignore files named "ch.dll" (which if I recall is also mentioned in the error you're probably seeing), or exclude your entire projects folder, etc. Interesting timing though, we've been working on a method this week that should prevent this from occurring - it will be in included in the next update to each of our products.
