MicroSurvey CAD 2013 SP1.1

Postby Brian Sloman » Fri Jun 14, 2013 4:57 pm

MicroSurvey is pleased to announce Service Pack 1.1 for MicroSurvey CAD 2013. This latest version of MicroSurvey CAD – built for surveyors, contractors and engineers – introduces support for the Leica Nova MS50 MultiStation, and is available in 5 product levels: Basic, Standard, Premium, Ultimate, and Studio.

According to Brian Sloman, Desktop Products Manager at MicroSurvey, "The Leica Nova MS50 MultiStation is an incredibe example of Leica innovation and engineering, and we are extremely proud to be the only complete CAD system to support the Nova. Along with importing points, figures, and raw survey data, MicroSurvey CAD can also display any photographic images that were taken, and Nova's high-definition scans can be viewed with MicroSurvey CAD Ultimate or Studio, allowing users to draw and measure directly inside the scan, generate surface models from the scan, and much more!"

MicroSurvey offers free trial versions for all of its major software – download MicroSurvey CAD 2013 SP1.1 today!

MicroSurvey CAD 2013 SP1.1 is now available for download in the helpdesk or via the online updater directly inside MicroSurvey CAD (Help menu | Check For Updates).

This release primarily adds support for the new Leica Nova MS50 MultiStation. It also includes a small number of other fixes, which are detailed in the helpdesk link above. This update includes the same IntelliCAD 7.2a engine that was used in the SP1 release, so existing MicroSurvey CAD users who are not using a Nova will not see a big difference between SP1 and SP1.1.

Because this is only a minor service pack update, existing MicroSurvey CAD users who are already running SP1 do not have to update their USB key to run SP1.1. A maintenance subscription plan (current as of April 12, 2013) is required to update a key to use either SP1 or SP1.1 – keys will update to “13.02.00”.
