Remove duplicate lines?

Postby Gord » Fri Apr 11, 2014 9:15 am

Have a massive drawing that was created from a shapefile for lot fabric. Since I want CAD drawing, converted and exploded. Problem is I now have duplicate lines everywhere.
Is there a command that you can remove duplicate entities from a drawing that I can't find?
Thanks,
Gord

There's a LISP that works pretty good for this. As far as I know IntelliCad does not have a command that does this but I could be wrong. Internet search for the lisp file found this page http://freecadapps.mcadcafe.com/swdetails.php?page=category&value=ACG-LSP&orgvalue=ACG&review=3145&rowcolor=fce08d

I've tried this LISP but it crashes out frequently when it hits lines that don't have a duplicate :/
Haven't had much luck finding one that will work on this drawing.

If you want to send me a dwg I have a program that does that.
Send me a PM and I can give it a run and send results.
It puts all duplicate entities found on its own unique layer, doesn't delete them, just moves duplicates to new layer.
Regards
