Measure/divide

Post by Glen Cameron » Mon Feb 16, 2004 10:20 am

Hi Vince, you are correct, the Measure command seems to have gotten munched again - so has the Divide command. I have passed this on so they can hopefully get it fixed real soon!

Measure Command

Is this the command that allows you to obtain a bearing and distance from GRAPHIC snaps between intersections, etc.

I tried to use this command but no go!

Sometimes you graphically need to obtain data from drawing having no coordinate database.

Divide and Measure

Post by Glen Cameron » Mon Feb 16, 2004 1:29 pm

Hank, no this is not what you were thinking.

And Service Pack #2 will have the Divide and Measure commands fixed. It should be posted within the next few hours.

What you are looking for may be found in a couple of ways - depending upon exactly you have in the drawing. If you have a line drawn you can simply take your mouse and pick on it. The CADLine dialog box will display what it knows of the line.

The DIST command may also help as it allows you to manually pick two locations on screen to measure the distance betweeen them.
