Label alignments

Post by GregL » Fri Mar 05, 2004 3:41 pm

I created an alignemnt in MSCAD2004, then tried to label existing points with a station and offset using the Label alignment command under the Horizontal alignment design pulldown . No such luck; I tried thawing all layers, but I can't find the label. Also, if I tried creating a new point with a station and offset, the label appears but the value is wrong. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi Greg, As we discussed earlier today, the survey point must be on screen and selected to have the station and offset label work for you. You must pick the survey points by one of the standard CAD methods (window, crossing, etc.), not just the point number, etc.

When we walked through it, the process did work for you. The label text format can not be changed and the font used in the last font used in the drawing (the current font).

You said you had also gotten the new point routine to work for you.

Glad to help when I can,

Cheers,
