stonewalls

I am new to microsurvey. How do I set up a custom line that would draw a stonewall? I have a stone block I brought over from eagle point that I would like to use. Thanks

As we have discussed in emails - options are limitted but the easiest option I could give you was to use the Measure command and place an internal Block at the desired spacing along a line, arc or polyline. Then go back and erase the line to leave just the rock wall symbol.

stonewalls

with Glen's help I have figured out how to draw stonewalls in the scale of the drawing you are working in and it follows the polyline or arc. It is quite a process initially but once the ground work is done you can draw them in any scale drawing you want. If anyone is interested let me know.

Kevin or Glenn
I am very interested in setting up a custom linestyle for stonewalls. The area that I practice in is littered with stonewalls. I would appreciate any help you can supply on this matter.
Thanks

Kevin
Thanks for the stonewall patterns, they work great and your instructions were right on. :D

Glenn, how about a stonewall patern in the future. :?: Here in NY we are littered with stonewalls and while Kevin's way is a temporary fix, it is not a substitute for a needed pattern style.

Hi Michael,

It is on the list for the development team to consider. That is all I can promise for now.

check out this link http://www.microsurvey.com/support/msca ... /index.htm
it has all the info. It works well for now. Hey Glen is Mscad2005 going to have its own stonewall linetype?

how do you chnage the drawing settings from say a 20 scale to a 100 scale drawing? and vice versa from a 20 to a 100 or a 40?

Go to the MsTools Menu and choose MicroSurvey Job Defaults

or....

Type cnf_edit_general at the command line.
