Labeling Text Height

Postby Minda Riley » Fri Apr 30, 2004 12:29 pm

Recently each time I label a line with a distance it will be with the wrong height. So I go into the Font menu option and choose to modify the corresponding text height (it always defaults to .375 for L80 at a scale of 1:250, when I would like it to be 0.5) So then I click OK, and try it again on the same line (that now has coordinates at either end) and when I label the line with a distance the second time it is correct. If I choose a new line it will default back to the 0.375 height. I repeat the process and realize that it will only correct itself if the line has been previously labeled. I try to change the height in the FONT menu and then save the defaults (toggle found in the General Defaults screen), as well as saving the config file just to make sure the new height is set. This doesn't work, the height of the text will always default back to the same 0.375! What on earth am I doing wrong?

Thanks for the help.
