FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Postby Richard Sands » Fri Jul 02, 2004 5:43 pm

Just a few ideas on new features. What do others think?
1-Labels at 90 degrees (or 45 degrees?) to the lines. Currently only available parallel to them.
2-'Floating' Layouts that cover what is behind them. Ie ability to have an enlarged portion of Model in Paper Space without having to find a blank spot on the layout.
3-AutoAdd Points or EDITP or just plain COGO. ability to set default Description that is used for all such entries.
I have forwarded these to MicroSurvey, but maybe others have comments here too.

I too suggested your #3. I was hoping that the default description would be something that could be set each time the routine was started as opposed to a setting that was buried in the program defaults somewhere. I also think it would be nice if the routine (Autoadd points) could apply a default description to the radius point - this default could be in the program defaults because it would never change.
