Mouse wheel...

Post by Michelle » Thu Jul 22, 2004 7:00 am

I was having trouble with my dimension text resetting itself after it was altered, so I reinstalled MicroSurvey CAD2002, this problem is fixed but now I am having several other problems...
My mouse wheel zooms the wrong direction, also I would like my wheel to pan...is this possible in MicroSurvey?
When I draw angled dimensions, the dim. text adds an extra second to every dimension, how can I fix this?
After Esc. from a comand Enter brings up the most recent comand, mine will no longer bring the COGO comand back up.

Thanks,
Michelle

I not sure what your problem is, but you might want to check out
your Mouse Properties.

My mouse can be changed. I have played with some of the option for the
Mouse and did manage to mess up MsCAD.

Make sure all the buttons are set to its Default settings.

Holding down the Alt key and the left button and you should be able to pan.

I looked under the control panel and I can't change it there, where is the mouse properties menu in Microsurvey?

Sorry I don't know of any. The mouse ethers works or it don't.
I have never seen your problem in MsCAD2000
Try switching your mouse with another mouse that works on another
computer. I am out of ideas.

mouse wheel

I'm having the same mouse wheel problems. When I scroll forward/up, MSCAD zooms OUT. This is on a new computer with a fresh install. The mouse wheel works properly in other windows environments (browsers, file explorer, ect...) Is there an option in some config file somewhere?

Wheel

I do not know of any settings in MSCAD to control the wheel for zooming purposes.

I will do some checking and see if I can find anything. If I do I will post it here.

Well, the brilliant IT people here installed MSCAD 2002 with only SP1. When they installed SP4, it went away. So there ya go... add it to the list of solved problems.

I did some checking with Germany and there currently is no option to control either the direction of the mouse wheel for zoom in/out or the amount of zoom the wheel will do.

They have added this to their wish list for future development.
