Least squares and multi-set routine

Post by KrdSmith » Wed Feb 09, 2005 2:21 pm

Glen,

I am having problems reducing my multi-set data in the least squares (LS)program. The LS seems to be ignoring my shots to my backsight and just holding the backsight value as that displayed in the occupied point setup line (in the active traverse editor - ATE). Field Genius seems to have no trouble processing the multi set data but it doesn't work in MSCADs LS routine as best as I can tell. As a work around I have been reducing the data manually and inserting it in one line in the ATE.

Any thoughts?

Kevin

Please email me all the files for an example, showing this. I would need the FLX and MSD files as well as the file(s) from the data collector.

We can then examine them and see what we find.
