Widescreen monitor

Post by dmoses » Mon Apr 11, 2005 3:21 pm

We are working on a wide screen monitor. Some of our files get really distorted. Our 90 degree angles look more like 75-80 degrees. It sounds like it is not a MicroSurvey thing, but maybe someone knows how to fix this.

Thanks

Video screen

It sounds like you have the monitor driver set to stretch the screen rather than allow you to stretch the program window to fit the wide screen. We run dual monitors here and can have the program fill both monitors, like a wide screen, but we have to manually stretch the program window to fill the two screens, or maximize the window to fill the two screens. Maybe your driver is not stretching the window correctly.

We use Matrox video cards - what are you using there?

We are using a RADEON X300. Dell is telling us that this is how the monitor is suppose to work.

Sounds like a feature that most would not be happy with in this industry.

Good Lcuk with it!
