Will MicroSurvey Cad2005 be able to read a .flx file directly or will the .flx files have to be converted to a .dwg file first?

MSCAD2005

MSCAD2005 will not be able to open a FLX file, being it is a different CAD engine manufacturer. There is a batch process in the older MSCAD2004 and 2002 that will allow you to batch convert FLX files to DWG - or you can do them one at a time manually, as required.

So to answer the question directly - all FLX files will need to be saved as DWG files for MSCAD2005 to be able to open and work with them.

The database files are unchanged and will open directly when the drawing opens.

Here do we find this batch proccess. Is there a way to do this proccess on mass or is it each file individually.

Glen made a movie that comes with the MicroSurvey CAD 2005 product.

It is posted on our web site so you can view it.

Normally a Flash movie of this size needs a high speed connection, because it is about 1.3 MB in size.
