This is probably a very simple problem for most of you. But for me being new to cad work, it's a stickler.

I want to put a legend with my cad drawing explaining what the symbols I used in my drawing are.

I'm not sure how to do this. Could someone please give me some hints on this?

Thanks

legend

You can simply copy each symbol from the drawing over to one side then add text to describe each symbol. Set it up as you wish for spacing, etc.

That would do it.

If you wish to have the same legend in every drawing, then this could be setup as a block and inserted into each drawing.

Thanks for the quick response Glen. It worked great and I also saved it as a block for future use.
