I do many As Constructed surveys requiring much CAD work to give to Councils the info they prefer. I tend to prefer the shapefile concept where I can input depths, culvert sizes etc all for a particular point. I wonder how many others would like the ability to add columns to the point attributes in MSCAD2005. These could all be exported as a .csv or similar file and imported into GIS.

We have had a few inqueries about adding GIS information to our database. Our FG program does permit this type of option so I would say it is just a matter of time before MSCAD will have similar capabilities.

No time frame set of course, but it is on the list to consider.
