River crossing profile???

Post by wflux » Sun Jul 17, 2005 7:20 am

We've just completed a power line survey and we have been asked to draw a river crossing profile.
Is there any provision in this program for this and if so what is the best procedure?

Thanks

Flatten command

If you have 3D shots taken along the crossing - you can join them together with a 3DPolyline then run the Flatten command (MsModelling menu -> Design Tools -> Flatten) and it will create a Profile of the 3Dpolyline for you with a grid, etc.

Step 6, in this tech note, shows this commands results.
