Converting to 2005

Postby Ron Mak » Mon Sep 12, 2005 5:57 am

I would like to contribute to the discussion in previous posts on the merits of R2005. It has been (and continues to be) a learning curve, but well worth it. In our shop we have several dedicated AutoCad users who only do drafting, and I use both Acad 2006 as well as MSCad, so the similarities to AutoCad are a welcome addition. The new cad engine is far superiour to the previous versions. I tried converting to 2004 when it came out, but bailed out on that because of difficulties. The conversion to 2005 has been much easier, albeit with a few hickups. After I get some things set (like new code library), we will convert the whole office.
