Sounds like some of the paths did not get setup correctly during the install.

Go to the Tools menu -> Preferences. Files -> Support File Search Path, and pick on the + sign.
you should have the following listed here:

(Your path may be different for C:\AutoCAD R14\, depending upon where you have your copy installed, but everything after it should be the same)

C:\AutoCAD R14\support\toolbar_bitmaps
C:\AutoCAD R14\design\APWA
C:\AutoCAD R14\design
C:\AutoCAD R14\mscad
C:\AutoCAD R14\qs
C:\AutoCAD R14\support
C:\AutoCAD R14\fonts
C:\AutoCAD R14\help

Set these as shown and then restart AutoCAD and see if this makes any difference.

If not then please call me and we will dig a bit deeper, if required.

Thanks Glen...the acad path thingy was not as it should be...I fixed that up and the error message has gone away. The password thing is still not a go....and when I enter the password it does not seen to register the software. I am going to call and see if I didnt get a incorrect password. I will keep you posted on this matter. Again thanks for your help... :) .

Registering the program

That is a step in the right direction! :)

A bad password is always possible. The head office can confirm it for you, no problem at all.

Let me know if I can help you on anything else.
