REM Character for ASCII import files

Postby jlooyestein » Fri Jun 22, 2012 10:06 am

Hi,

I'm using inCAD2012 with C3D2012. With older versions of inCAD I used an asterick to rem out lines in our ASCII import files. These lines contain info on coordinate systems, transformations, etc.. inCAD2012 imports these lines (rem'd out text is the point number with 0,0,0 coordinates). I have tried * ! and REM. does anybody know if inCAD2012 supports any REM characters?

Thanks,
John Looyestein

Hi,
A # character should work. For example, point 2 will be skipped in the following example:
Code: Select all
1,1000,1000,100,a
#2,1000,1001,100,b
3,1000,1002,100,c
