disassociated annotation HELP

Postby WilmaN » Wed Nov 19, 2014 11:25 am

I've got a drawing file that has something I've never seen before. Every leader I've place (using 'LE') has this annoying exclamation mark at the end of the arrow. If I hover over the exclamation point it it says 'disassociated annotation'. If I right click it gives me the option to 'reassociate' or 'delete'. I just want the exclamation marks to go away. They are interfering with working in the file as they get larger/smaller with zooming in/out. Any sugesstions as to why this is the only drawing I've ever seen it in. Just to mention I am not the creator of the drawing...

probably way too late now but have you looked in Dimension styles and try setting up a new dimension style and change all leaders to match that style?
Could be a custom style that you are missing something on your device. But having said that I thought such styles were included within dwg?
