Hello all,

That was painful. We have moved most of our services to a new server, but it will take a few more days to get all the files in the right places for downloads.

Our web site hosting service is called Verio, and they are the biggest in the world. Fancy backup services and round the clock this and that.

A big hurricane and they get blown away.

MicroSurvey is now running its own server for web sites in a much more friendly environment. They might have warm winters, but I don't think the hurricanes are worth it.

Just my two cents.

Forgive me, Darcy, but I have to ask why it was necessary in the first place to utilize a service South of the 49th? About the only strong winds we get in B.C. come from Victoria, generated from the Legislature. I trust that you're just repentance will militate against further romances with the Helms-Burtonites and softwood lumber thieves.
