DWG problem

Postby kevinnem » Thu Apr 24, 2008 12:36 pm

Hey , we have been having a persistent and recurring problem when DWG files are opened in MS 2005.

We have a number of files saved with MS2004, that we now open in MS2005 (after saveing in 2004 DWG).

The issue may, or may not, be related to the 2004/2005 way we are working is that the points in the database become "unlinked" from the drawing text entities. usally they seperate themselfs by a few meters, and in some cases, will rotate (always 90 degrees) as well.

This may be related to the fact that it appears many of our drawings have "0" angle set to 270 (as seen in the "ddunits" command in 2005).

Any ideas why this is happening, .. one of thse days we are going to send out a drawing that is 90degrees out of rotate and look kinda sillly!.

Is there a way to post a file, and picture to explain what I am talking about?
