Using points for surface

Post by wfd144 » Sat Apr 26, 2008 10:59 am

Is there any way to extract a range of point numbers to create a surface? When creating contours I only want to use points with actual ground elevations not steps or floor elevations. I see where you can select them by elevation range and manual selection.
Thanks

Graphic editor is a useful tool for this. You can select a grouping of points and then create a surface from them.
You can also just select all points and then deselect the ones of your chosing, but remember to deselect any points before you run any breaklines as they (breaklines) get removed in the removing points from surface routine.
