MSCad2010 Md5sum

Post by azstew » Fri Jun 12, 2009 12:19 pm

Is there a Md5sum available for the 2010 download?

I'd like to confirm I have a good D/L before attempting to install 2010.
An Md5sum would provide verification that the file is intact, and is an exact copy of the posted file.

The installer does its own MD5 check after you execute it. If the installer isn't the same package that we built you will get a warning message and the install will terminate.

Are you having problems with the download?

Thanks.

I did have a bit of trouble, but I was using Linux/Seamonkey to D/L the file.

2008 and 2009 D/L'ed without a hitch using the same computer.

Not sure why this release gave me problems, but I did get it, finally.

BTW, has 2010 been tested with Win7?

No official testing internally has been done with Windows 7 but two or three MicroSurvey CAD 2010 beta testers were using Windows 7 beta. They reported no problems.

In about a month we will do our own internal testing, but from what we've read and heard, we don't anticipate any problems.
