Will MSCAD 2010 read an ACAD 2010 file? I got a file fron an Arch. not sure if it's corrupt or a version we can't read

DWG R2010 format is not yet supported.

By default, new drawings are created in DWG R2009/R2008/R2007 format. You can do a "Save As" down to any version from R2009 to R2.5 format, DWG or DXF.

You will have to ask the client to save it in a supported version so it can be opened.

Hi, Autodesk also has a free program called DWG TrueView which can be used for converting dwg files back to various previous versions. It's a handy little helper app to keep in your toolbox, you can download it from the autodesk website at www.autodesk.com
