Working in Expired Mode

Post by lawhalen » Tue Jan 26, 2016 9:50 am

I am training to use microsurvey and my 30 day trial period has run out. I seem to only be able to open files and manipulate points on previous drawings, not create new points. I don't care about saving my data just wishing to learn new skills. Is it possible to create points in expired mode or do I need to purchase a licence for me to continue my training?

Hi,
In Expired mode you cannot save the drawing or database, which incidently is the first step the program needs to take when creating a New drawing. So if you are expired, you can Open an existing drawing and make edits to it, including storing new points, but you cannot save the changes. But you cannot create a New drawing and store points in it. If you need additional time with your trial, please contact your sales representative and he can help reset your 30-day trial period.
