• MicroSurvey CAD allows users to open and arrange a number of stock toolbars
• And allows the option of creating, importing and exporting customized toolbars

Stock toolbars are best handled by manually arranging them once a new program has been installed

Custom toolbars can be sent to new installations or work stations by writing a .mns file:

Steps to Export a Toolbar file:

When you right click in the Toolbar "parking" area you see a list of available toolbars, including any customized ones at the bottom of the list:

Pick "Customize"

Ensure the Toolbars tab is selected

Pick "Export"

Uncheck ALL toolbars except for your custom ones:

Pick "OK"

Select a location you can access later in the "Save in:" dialog

Pick "Add-on Menu File (mns) from the "Save as Type" dialog

Give your file a name

Export is complete

Steps to Import a Toolbar file:

CadTools | Customize and select Toolbars Tab

Pick "Import"

Be sure to change the "Save as type:" option to Add-on Menu File (mns)

Navigate to the location of the file

Highlight and pick "Save"

Import is complete
