We have been updating world coordinate systems in FieldGenius.
Coordinate systems reside in the Coordsys file within FieldGenius. We have also added to this download an ellipsoid and datum file. Also added are many MRT files. We have collected and zipped them into one compressed file so that you only have one download instead of many.Note: If there is a coordinate system that you would like us to add, please contact MicroSurvey and let us know.
Steps to Install:
- Download the Coordsys.zip file from our website and save it to your computer. Unzip (extract) the files.
- Connect your data collector to your computer and find the location where
FieldGenius is stored. You should be able to find the Mapping directory
which is always located in MicroSurvey Fieldgenius\Programs\Mapping.
- Copy all of the the files that you downloaded and extracted from your computer, and paste them into the MicroSurvey
Fieldgenius\Programs\Mapping directory on the data collector.
