MicroSurvey FieldGenius and Evidence Recorder have the ability to connect to an NTrip or Network correction service even if the receiver does not have a GSM Modem. The data collector must have access to the internet using either a Wi fi connection, a Sim card in the data collector or a cell phone or modem external connection. If you can open Internet Explorer and can surf the web on the data collector than you should investigate using this connection method.See this article for a guide to configuring a Nautiz data collector so that it can use a sim card with a data plan to connect to the internet. The Algiz also has a slot for a sim card and can be used in this application. See the Algiz manual for more information. Bluetooth enabled Archers and Allegro MXs can connect to the internet using a wifi connection but this would provide a limited range for your GPS work. As of March 2012 MicroSurvey Supports "Data Collector Internet" on the following devices:These Devices require a Cable Connection from the Data Collector Serial Port to the Radio Port on the receiver.
