New Features in Evidence Recorder 8.0:

• Brand new look and feel – We completely reworked all of our graphics and icons.
• Desktop Version Improvements – With more and more tablet PCs entering the market, we made significant improvements to our desktop version of the software.
• Work Flow Improvements – We are always working on improving the work flow of FieldGenius.
• Better OnPOZ EZSurv Data Compatibility – Post-processed GNSS data has never been easier to collect and process.  Use OnPOZ as an additional RTK tool to verify your ambiguity fixes.
• GPS Base Station IDs – To better accommodate RTCM 3.0 data format, we increased number of possible reference IDs from 32 to 4096.
• GPS Base Station ID Checks – FieldGenius now checks to ensure that the incoming GPS reference data is coming from the specified base station.  This ensures that you are receiving information from the correct base station.
• We added more status screens to help you diagnose RTK issues.
• We added command line console to the Instrument Settings screen.  Power users will find this handy if they are trouble shooting a receiver and happen to know certain control commands that allow them to speak directly with the receiver.
• We added Galileo and SBAS satellites to the GNSS Satellite plot screen.
• We made supporting alpha-numeric characters now the default.
