Figure 2 - Description List

Press the Description List button to open the AutoMap library – you can start typing the description and FieldGenius will automatically scroll to the description that matches your entry. In my example I typed “E” which highlighted EG. Pick Ok and you flip back to the map screen.

Figure 3 - Start Line

Here you see EG on the description button; to start a line, simply press the Line Toggle.

The important thing to note is that with FieldGenius you do not need to worry about using unique descriptions. On the figure list button note that it now displays “Start Line” which means your shot will be considered the start of the figure. To record it, simply press the measure button.
