The Texas Show in October was a huge success! Jason Poitras (Director of Product Development), Michael Bachinski (OfficeSync Sales Representative), and I (Mike Rudniski, Technical Sales Representative) went down for the conference.

On Thursday, October 20th, we held an information day in one of the conference hotel meeting rooms. The morning session was focused on Field Genius 2006, and MicroSurvey CAD 2005. Even though numbers were lower than expected, those in attendance were genuinely excited to observe new opportunities to increase efficiency and productivity using our products. One attendee commented how MicroSurvey CAD 2005 would save him hours of work each day!

The afternoon OfficeSync session had a strong showing of prospects eager to see how OfficeSync wireless file transfer worked as well as how it could improve their business. Once they saw how easy the system was to use, the benefits become obvious – “simplicity, accuracy and speed”. In addition, firms were given brief overviews of our other products – attendees expressed a lot of interest in FieldGenius 2006.

People made the most of the limited amount of time for exhibit area viewing. From the moment the doors opened, we were kept busy speaking with prospects and existing customers. At times, we were so busy all we could do was smile and waive as a customer we were unable to get to walked by our booth. All of our demo disks and pamphlets were grabbed up by passers-by; a sign of the growing interest in our products and of even greater things to come.

Austin and the people of Texas were very accommodating to all of us – so accommodating we can hardly wait until we get the next opportunity to go there. To everyone, thanks for showing us a great time, we hope to see you again next year!
