Microsoft Windows 6.1 Classic Available in Multiple Languages  
This standard operating system provides a common user interface, familiar experience, and a common set of APIs and program development tools for Windows Mobile. The operating system and documentation are available in multiple languages. Wordwide English is installed as the default language. Optional languages include French, Spanish, German, Polish, Swedish, Chinese Traditional, and Chinese Simplified.

Fast Processor For Great Performance
The 624 Mhz PXA270 processor provides outstanding speed and performance. Different speeds can be selected by you based on your application needs and desired power conservation.

Secure Data and Program Storage
Generous 2GB non-volatile solid state disk storage is available. Your data are secure without battery backup.

Plenty of Memory for Efficient Program Execution
128MB of SDRAM provides sufficient memory to run programs like mobile GIS.

PC and MicroSD Card Slots Provide Options
Add data storage and input/output options through the user-accessible PC card slot and MicroSD/SDHC slot. Up to 8GB is supported for large data sets and background image files.

Color Display
The 3.8" (96mm) 1/4 QVGA color TFT active Matrix Transflective LCD provides brilliant contrast, even in direct sunlight. 

Touchscreen
The resistive, pressure sensitive touchscreen can be operated with a stylus or finger. A touchscreen disable button lets you clean the screen without turning the unit off.

Wireless Connectivity Options
Bluetooth 2.0 Class I wireless technology provides improved speed and connection options within a 30 foot radius (10 meters). Wi-Fi provides wireless internet capability and high-speed broadband data access. USA and international versions are available.

Meets Tough Environmental Specifications
Do not let the attractive design fool you. The case is rugged, shock resistant, and chemical resistant. Gaskets completely seal the case from water and dust. The Allegro MX operates in temperatures ranging from -22 to 130 degrees F (-30 to 54 degrees C). It meets IP 67 for being waterproof and dustproof and is tested to MIL-STD 810F for water, humidity, sand and dust, vibration, altitude, shock, and temperature.

Efficient Keyboard Layout
There is a full 62-key alpha and numeric keyboard. The keys are large and can be used with gloved hands. Twelve function keys are Windows Mobile keys that can also be custom programmed for your applications. Key labels do not rub off after extended use. The keyboard bezel protects the keys from tearing. It can be removed to clean the keyboard (the Allegro remains sealed during cleaning).

Field-Friendly Design
The shape and smooth edges of the case make it easy to hold in either hand and use in the field. The Allegro MX weighs only 1.8 lbs (840g). The battery and PC card compartments are easily accessed. Hand and shoulder straps can be attached in multiple configurations.

Wireless Sensor Integration with Expansion Pods 
Expansion pod options include a GPS receiver, bar code scanner, and National Instruments Data Acquisition (DAQ) pod. Expansion pods are fully sealed. OEM pod development is available as an option.

Long Battery Life
A rechargeable NiMH battery pack provides 6 to 20 hours of battery life per charge, depending on use. Batteries are fully charged in 4 hours. Intelligent battery monitoring and charging are provided. An optional AA alkaline battery holder is available.

Multiple Communication Options
Full size USB host A supports thumb drives. Mini USB client B provides fast downloads and synchronization with a PC. One serial port Com 1 RS-232C 9-pin sub D with 5VDC on DTR pin is also provided.

Fast File Transfer and Synchronization
Using the optional USB/Power Dock you can quickly transfer and synchronize files between the Allegro MX and a PC. The Allegro is charged while it is docked, preparing it for another work day. Multiple USB/Power Docks can be attached to one PC.
