inCAD 2006 Upgrade Tour

TDS and FieldGenius | Traverse and Calculating | Drafting

Input / Output Scale - Improved MicroSurvey inCAD functions that are affected by the input or output scale factors so reminders are displayed in the command line and in the view log. “OS” indicates that an output scale was applied, where as “IS” indicates that an input scale was applied. For more detailed information about the input and output scale changes, please see the following document.

CADCurve Dialog - On the CAD Curves computation dialog, if the output scale factor is turned on, we will display a note in the dialog “Applying Output Scale Factor (### .# ##)”

COGO Rotation - Added functionality so when the COGO rotation angle option is used, the user will see a note at the command line that a rotation is being applied when bearings are entered using COGO.

Area (Sliding Bearing) - Updated the sliding bearing predetermined area routine so that an arc is temporarily displayed when arc boundaries are defined.

Auto House Tie - This function has been updated to display the offset distance at the command line before the label is added to the drawing. It will also now allow you to select lines at different elevations as it will now normalize them and compute a 2D offset instead of 3D.

Traverse - When the closed loop method is selected, inCAD will now analyze the traverse file and will try to determine the closing point information for the user. If successful, the user will see a summary dialog of what was determined. If accepted, the program will compute the closed loop closure.

Traverse - Updated the traverse closure routine so it will warn the user if they measured an angles only observation to the backsight from their first setup in the raw file.

Closed Traverse - MicroSurvey inCAD will now perform "include the last measured closing leg" when computing a closed traverse. Prior versions of inCAD would close the traverse on the initial backsight point and the new method will now close on the original setup point.

Traverse Angle Adjustment - This has been updated so that as each point is being updated, point protection is triggered just like any other point.

Open Traverse - Updated the dialog to display more information about how to complete the adjustment.

Closed and Open Traverse Adjustments - If there were traverse shots or comments after the closing foresight shot, the closing shot point would not be adjusted. Note - the correct adjustment amount was still applied correctly to all other points. This is now fixed.

ASCII In - the dialog asking for the file to import would not allow you to cancel and is now fixed.

LSA - If there are notes at the beginning of the traverse file it could crash the program when a least squares adjustment was done. This is now fixed.

AutoMap - Fixed an AutoMap crash that would occur with long descriptions. The bug has been fixed but there could still be some issues with descriptions greater than 50 characters.

House Library - New houses added to the library that were originally drawn at other than 0,0 were being inserted based upon 0,0 and could be shifted off the lot. This is fixed.

Input Scale (Traverse) - If you had the scale input toggle on and start entering in a traverse (using the Dialog box entry method), the HT and HI are also scaled by the input scale factor when they really should not be. If you enter them in via the spreadsheet method or the command line method, then they are fine. This is now fixed.

Starnet - Fixed a bug that would output face 2 horizontal angles as being 180° when the Starnet export routine was used.

COGO Description - The description you last entered during COGO was not always available at the next COGO description prompt. The problem has now been resolved.
